    All frames are custom-made in maple with a snow white painted finish. The artwork is attached to the 100% rag mat float with hand-torn Japanese rice paper hinges and wheat starch paste. The spacers between the plexi and the float are made of maple and painted to match the frame and the float. All pieces include UV-filtering plexiglas for long-term protection of the art. The back of the frames are finished off with foam core backing and a wooden support that is reverse-drilled into the frame.

    Only museum quality archival methods and materials were used in framing because the elements that you can't see are every bit as important as the ones you do.
